In order to achieve a total entertainment experience, the show has to bring its audience as close to the edge as it is safe to. Experience is the only teacher of that when it comes to all types of environments. Not only does a good mechanic or surgeon have the right tools, he or she knows when and how to use them. The same goes for a good entertainer.
